Frequently Asked Questions
Here are the answers to our most frequently asked questions regarding giving at lake tapps. If you have any problems or questions about your giving, please email our Office Administrator at email@example.com or call 253.863.8787.
Can I designate my giving to a specific fund or need?
Since we are a non-profit entity, your tax-deductible, non-refundable gift cannot be allocated to specific expenditures at the time of giving. Our elders carefully manage our budget and continually seek God's guidance on the most beneficial use of your gift.
Are there additional fees associated with online giving?
There are no fees to you associated with any of our electronic giving options.
How do I adjust a recurring gift?
Sign in to your online giving account. Click "recurring" at the top of the page. Next to your recurring gift, on the right side of the page you'll see a pencil icon. Click it, and you can change your recurring giving amount, next transaction date, frequency of transaction, or payment information, such as a different card, or if your bank information has changed. Then click "Save" at the bottom of the page to save your new information. If you need to delete your recurring transaction, click the grey "delete" button on the upper right side of the page, right underneath your name.
Will I receive a contribution statement for online contributions?
Yes. We mail out quarterly statements with your year-to-date giving totals, broken out by date and donation amount. At any time, you may also access your giving history by signing in to your online giving account, selecting "Transactions" and performing a search, entering the date range for which you wish to view your gifts. You may also view your giving history anytime through Lake Tapps Family.
Can I give online and still give during service?
Yes. We accept your gifts in the form and at the time and place you wish to give. Cash and checks are accepted in the plate during each Sunday service.
How does the church spend my contributions?
At Lake Tapps Christian Church, we are partners in ministry with all our givers; we believe in being open with our finances. To view our most recent financial statement, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Is online giving secure?
Yes. The company we use for our online giving services is Pushpay. They have been in business since 2012. They are PCI compliant and maintain SSL Certification for an additional layer of security protecting your information.
