About Lake Tapps

Lake Tapps is a community of people inviting God to use our stories to grow and strengthen His kingdom.We are committed to becoming a church that unchurched people love to attend focusing on growing God's kingdom. We do this through stories. We are wired for stories. Stories are powerful and our stories matter. They communicate powerfully to the heart of all people. They're not preachy. They're not arguments. Stories are shared.

The mission of lake tapps is to Honor God, Follow Christ and Serve People. What that means is instead of doing life our own way, we submit to God’s ways. Instead of remaining independent and alone, we live out our faith with others in community. Instead of looking out for ourselves, we keep an eye out for others. Just like the Good Samaritan, we notice needs and are ready to help at a moment’s notice.
